Verify a document

Every receipt and contract we issue can be checked against the system that issued it — by you, without asking us.

How to check a document

  1. Find the QR code on your receipt or contract and scan it with your phone camera. It opens the check directly.
  2. Or type the reference number into the verification page above. Receipt references look like RCPT-2026-000123.
  3. Compare what comes back with the paper in your hand: the amount, the date, and the file it is recorded against. All three should match exactly.

What a successful check tells you

  • The document was issued by our system, not printed by someone.
  • It has not been cancelled or voided since. A receipt that was later voided — a bounced cheque, a correction — will say so.
  • The amount recorded against your file is the amount on the paper.

If the check fails, or the figures differ

Contact us directly, not the person who gave you the document. Send a photograph of what you were given and tell us where it came from.

A payment that does not appear against your file is the single most serious thing that can go wrong in an instalment purchase, and it is far easier to resolve in the week it happens than in the year you discover it.

Make this a habit

Check every receipt, within a few days of every payment. It takes ten seconds and it is the best protection available to you — more useful than any assurance we could give, because it does not depend on us.
